Each year the club shall present awards to its members, based on competitive results and outstanding contribution at the club's A.G.M. as it sees fit.

The Colonel R.B. Campbell Dish for Female Beginner of the Year
The Colonel R.B. Campbell Dish for Female Beginner of the Year is awarded to the best 1st year female beginner. This year's winner came 3rd in the SUS Beginners' Foil and 6th in the SUS Beginners' Sabre, both outstanding achievements for a beginner.
This year's winner is Rachel Gemmell

The Colonel R.A. Hay Shield for Male Beginner of the Year
The Colonel R.A. Hay Shield for Male Beginner of the Year is awarded to the best 1st year male beginner. This year's winner came a respectable 15th out of a field close to 50 competitors in the Men's Foil and 5th in the Men's Sabre. Again this is an outstanding achievement for a beginner.

Club Awards
The club committee, at its discretion, may award a Club Award to a club member that has shown significant sporting achievements during their university career or who has made a significant contribution to the club.
This year two Club Awards were awarded.
The first award went to a club member who has served on the committee as Social Secretary for the past two years. During her time in the role she has organised the highly successful karaoke nights and a salsa night in 2007. In addition to this, this year she took charge of the organisation of a 4 Sports Ceilidh. Attended by over 200 club members from the Riding, Rifle, Swimming & Water Polo and Fencing Clubs, it was extremely successful.
The first Club Award Recipient is Julia Moffat
The second award went to a club member who has served on the committee as Master Armourer for the past two years, in addtion to serving one year as a General Member. In addition to maintaining the club's armoury and making sure all the weapons are safe and working, he has been ever present on the A Team.
